2018年に10インチでリリースされた『New Culture Days』がワールドワイドな反響を呼んだ、こだま和文とダブ・ユニット＝Undefinedのフル・アルバム『2 Years / 2 Years in Silence』が、数量限定180g重量盤クリア・ヴァイナルでリリース決定!
パンデミックの中断を挟んで、2021年末に完成した音源は、当初オリジナルとダブを交互で収録するショーケース・スタイルでのリリースが予定されていた。しかし、ダブの代わりにアンビエントの方向性が浮かび上がり、オリジナルの『2 Years』とアンビエントの『2 Years in Silence』の2作品が仕上がった。
オリジナル・サイドは、Undefinedが作り込んだリディム（トラック）にこだま和文のトランペットが加わるシンプルで研ぎ澄まされた構成で、10インチの世界観をさらにスケールアップした。アンビエント・サイドは、こだま和文とUndefinedがアンビエントの方向性／コンセプトを見つける作業から始まり、二組の音楽性をより深く、静かに伝える作品となった。そして、美しいバランスの取れた作品が完成した。
